Obedience Group Training

Class Info

Arkhein K9 LLC offers Beginner or puppy class, Intermediate class, as well as Advanced class group training to all clients who have successfully completed a prior program. These classes are held in public areas in order to benefit from the day to day real world distractions that our dogs can potentially face. Current classes are held Monday’s at 6:00pm in varying places around town (weather and unforeseen natural events permitting). All group members will be notified the day of training, at least 6 hours advance notice, via social media, phone, or email.

Cost of group

Monthly group cost will be $80 per month for the first dog and $60 per month per subsequent dogs in the same household. This will be billed automatically through a subscription platform.

Monthly paying members of our group training program will receive discounted private lessons at $50 per hour for the first dog, and $50 per hour per subsequent dogs in the same household. This is for members that want/need additional assistance outside of group, or away from a crowd environment. Drop-in rates for private lessons will also be discounted to $75 per hour for the first dog, $75 per subsequent dogs in the same household. Contact us to setup an appointment.

Active group members will also receive discounted workshop/event fee to any and all workshops or events hosted by Arkhein K9 LLC. (discounts to be determined on an event by event basis)

Guidlines

Safety is our priority. All dogs must be leashed when outside of their crate and must be contained when not participating in group activity; i.e. kenneled or inside a car. (Arkhein K9 LLC prefers to see dogs kenneled for safety as we have bared witness in the past to dogs escaping cars by both opening the door and rolling down windows)

There will be times that dogs leashes will need to be dropped, or removed, for such activities as to practice and proof recalls, ecollar work, etc. It is at these specific times and only these specific times that off leash will be permitted.

Ask before you pet any dog and accept a no pet policy from any handler if that is their wish.

Respect all group members at all times. Disrespectful members can be asked to leave a training session by Arkhein K9 LLC staff. Based on circumstances of the incident it will be at the staffs discretion to expel the member for their behavior or administer a warning.

As Arkhein K9 LLC Obedience Training Groups train in public areas, all laws for public areas as applies to Alcohol will be adhered to by all group members. All Alcohol consumption is to be kept at a legal limit. Drug use of any kind will not be tolerated. You are responsible for picking up after your dog during bathroom breaks.

Group members and their spectators should be responsible for themselves and their children in regards to distance from dogs and handlers. We welcome group members to be involved on the field, but be sure to respect dog and handler space for work. At any time, staff may request a group member respectfully move, or give space to a dog/handler team.

All grievances should be directed to the training staff immediately. If you have an issue go through proper channels immediately or live with it in silence. There is no reason for any other avenue to be taken in matters like this or it creates drama in the group creating an environment that is not inviting to other group members. Arkhein K9 LLC believes in and supports freedom of speech, religious beliefs/faiths of any kind, differing political views, and general differing opinions. While it is the belief of Arkhein K9 LLC that general social tact, courteousness, and consideration should be considered at group gatherings, we feel it is not our duty to participate in speech monitoring and everyone has a right to their opinions and beliefs. At times in life, it is necessary to just be thicker skinned. Arkhein K9 LLC will not tolerate lewd, racist, or sexist remarks to anyone at any time.

Above all Arkhein K9 LLC Obedience Group Training should be a fun family friendly environment that is open and accepting to everyone no matter their background and/or beliefs outside of dogs.
